Angry Interesting problem with MAC Mufflers...

I ordered a set of MAC axle-back mufflers from an outfit here in Texas. Got the mufflers on Tuesday and went to install them yesterday. I had the passenger side all mounted up nice and fine...go to grab the driver's side and guess what? That's right, two passenger side mufflers boxed up in the same box. Sunuvabitch!

I'm calling the place I ordered from today. I'll post up whether they make it right or not. It's not their fault that the mufflers were packaged wrong, but they are a distributor for MAC and are going to have to eat the shipping cost back to them. So I drove in to work this morning without any mufflers...that was interesting. The car sounded like a Mack truck. Probably sounds aweful close to what the Pypes bolt in straight pipes sound like.

Thumbs up

Well, I just called the outfit that I bought the mufflers from. They're going to ship me a driver's side muffler and shipping label for returning one of the mufflers back to them. So far so good! I should have the driver's side muffler tomorrow.

I'll post up the name of the company once everything is all said and done. Excellent customer service so far!

Good to hear they got it taken care of! You will love the MAC's when they are on. I have them on my Mustang and I think they are one of the best sounding muffles I have heard on the S197's.

Got the replacement muffler today (Friday). I installed it tonight. I'm very pleased with the service of ninosport.com which is the outfit I bought the mufflers from. Excellent service. Fast response.
