So stop, catch your breath, and go back and look at how high the classic Mustangs and Shelbys were. Then you'll realize how overblown this super-low look is.
Not to mention how just lowering the car with just springs won't give you a single performance benefit.
He also lives in MS as I do. I'm quite familiar with all of the state and wouldn't intentionally ill advise him. I don't think just the springs is the way to go but if he's willing to spend the money to do it right it not only performs but looks wonderful on our cars IMO.

I'm gonna replace the shocks & struts too. Still debating about what kind and leaning towards FRPP. I wonder how stiff that ride would be. I'm not doing this for performance, although less body roll would be cool.

Its nice that D-specs are adjustable, but I would never adjust them. At least not after figuring out what setting I want.

I think that's what most do with the d-specs, if your gunna spend that much either go with those or Koni's.

Dont count out using just the roush rear springs. At least for starters, so you can see if its suitable.

I lowered mine and have LTs and scrap a lot. I even busted my cats, gutted them and welded them back up. Still glad I lowered it.

Yeah...when I installed my midpipe that goes with the LT's, I had some fitment issues and just had a muffler shop re-weld some stuff. I'm thinking about going back and asking them to raise my cats. The cats are really all I'm worried about.

LT's hang maybe 1/2 below the frame. But the cats are a good 1 1/2 inch below the frame.

Don't forget speedbumps. I hit my cats on speedbumps sometimes. I'm Roush lowered with Bassani cats.

lowering your car does give you a performance benefit, it reduces body roll more than 20% and gives your car more nimble handling, if cars weren't meant to perform better lower, don't you think supercars would be more than 3 inches off the ground?

I have the full FRPP suspension (since my first day of ownership- 2007 GTCS 20k miles) on my car and the ride isn't bad at all or maybe I've gotten used to it. If you get it make sure that the swaybar mount bushing get properly lubed.

I don't have LT's on my car (yet) but I've been told that Kooks LT's have a better fit.
