Orrrrr you could go the cat-less route? I only have to worry about the
actual piping that runs form the muffler to the tips. Nothing else ever
scrapes. If you look at that pic again in my earlier post you car see the
2 pipes I am talking about. I have had the car 2 full months and dont
regret it being lowered. I have only scrapped on raised piece a driveway
once. Even then the scratch on the pipe was minor. I do however hear
a lot more of the little bits of rocks/pebbles on the interstate because
they bouce just high enough off the ground. I had a V6 S197 before my
GT and I went from stock height (never touching anything) . Then I
installed my GT bumper and scrapped a parking block (lil fu.ckers) and
finally lowered the front with the Roush springs (only cost me $20 on craigslist).
It was a nice suttle drop and I would reccomend going with the Roush
front and rears. This will give you the lowered/less tire gap look and still
be reasonable.

Hmmmm lots of guys lower. I actually sit a bit higher than stock. But, I like the old school muscle look

By the way...Roger, Roger, what's our vector, victor?

Thats why I put my cats farther back (where the pipes angle back toward the center), so there would be no clearance issues.

Now that I'm lowered, I'm glad I put them there; no clearance issues whatsoever, even going over speed bumps.
