Default Shaker 500 problems...AGAIN

I had the HU replaced a few months after I bought it b/c it went bad and woldn't play or eject CDs etc. Well about a year later... This morning I turn on the car, the cd starts to play, but I wanted to listen to another one so I eject slot 6 and TRY to put in another CD...well short story is it doesn't work and I can't play any of the CDs or eject/insert any! Is there any fix for this? I'm guessing since I've now owned the car for over the magic 1 year mark of the "3" year warrenty that Ford wont do anything or am I wrong about this?

you could buy my stock shaker 500 unit for cheap + shipping or go aftermarket. my shaker head unit works perfect. only had it for about 1-1.5 years (since new)

here's what i did to avoid ever having problems...

Well I have no faith in the Shakers unless they replace it for free haha. How much did that run you? That looks great!

i got it from a buddy that needed to pay some bills for $400 brand new in the box with the ipod cable! its a pioneer avic f700bt. they typically go for $650-$750 at reputable on-line stereo shops.
