I dont know what to do here...
Well as some of you may recall me posting about, i got rear ended earlier this week.
I finally got my insurance check and it was 670 ish.
I was really hoping to go from the gt bumper to the gt/cs bumper and just pay the difference but allstate decided to use a "reconditioned" gt bumper so they are only paying 170 towards my bumper. (the oem one is only 50 more)
so now if i want the cs bumper i have to pay the $300 difference.
Should i just pay out the cash or have them put it back to how it was?
$300 seems like an awful lot to spend on something that isnt that much different.
for me $300 is about a 1.5 weeks worth of work.
what would really help is some good shots of a cs rear on a redfire!

In the end, its up to you.
However keep in mind the the insurance is also covering paint, refinishing, and putting it on. That alone, depending on what has to be done, could be quite a bit.
On the other hand, you have a money situation, so I would save that money and keep it in the bank for something else. If you didn't have that, then I would say go for it.

only pull the trigger if the cs bumper ties in with something that you have planned for the car. it's true that it's a lot of money to drop, but if you got your mind set on a goal with your car, you can make arrangements for it to happen.

well, after driving around a bit it seems i may have some bigger mechanical issues. something up with my clutch or something, it feels like im getting wheel hop but under normal starts in first gear only. i guess its like slipping but they only thing i can compare it to is the feeling of wheel hop
