Default Which mod next?

Ok so I have a Pioneer AVIC-D3 and the rest of the system is stock. Two of my speakers are blown (I like load music ) and I wanted to get a new sound system. So I called this place by my house (Abt, they do really great work) and they gave me an estimate: New font and back speakers, two amps, and a custom sub box= $1,650 (parts and labor) But I also wanted to get new wheels (shelby) and tires that would prob be around the same price.

What do you guys think I should do? System or Wheels? Is $1,650 alot for a new system? (I am stupid and didnt ask him what kind of speakers, subs etc, but the guy said for a good system that wont blow your speakers, $1650) Oh and by the way this is for my birthday so i wont be paying for it

you NEED to find out the brands and models of the stuff. Door speakers range from 20 to 400+ and so do subs and amps..... I have seen alot of people get ripped cause they didnt know about systems. 1650 sounds a little high for a novice, unless there using really good stuff. and find out how much individual things cost... I mean I build custom boxs that usualy blow others out of the water, and I usualy dont spend more then 50$ on a box unless its really big and I need a second sheet of MDF. Get the brands and models, just phone in, and write it down. I'll let you know if its a good price or not. Hell, I got a Kicker L7, a 900w RMS amp, and 3farad digital cap I can sell you for half that or less... the other half for door speakers would just be insane unless your going REALLY high end.

Get the wheels. You can do the stereo yourself for a lot less. A LOT LESS.

Just upgrade the wheels and tires first then get some new door speakers...
