It's a prototype for the new Automotive Dezignz carbon fiber radiator cover, btw.

Supposed to be a black plastic hook and mount. That holds the hood prop.

I guess I've had hood struts for so many years now that I forgot, haha

That's not a ground screw? I thought there were some ground wires screwed to that, but maybe i'm not looking at it right.

Nope, the ground screw is closer to the radiator.
That there hardware is the hood prop mounting bolt.
Notice the 'cut-out' in the aftermarket carbon
fiber radiator dress up trim to clear the OEM hood prop?
Too bad the carbon fiber people dont make a radiator
cover for stangs with the hood prop delete feature
(hood struts).
