thats what i thought, but i read of another member that said he did it. if it does in fact work, that would be cool, but i dont see how they would fit.

6x9 wouldn't really help that much anyway since shaker 500 already has the 8" woofer in the door. They do very well in the 100-500hz range.

Oh I see. I'm sure you could just mount them under the rear deck with some spacers. Shouldn't sound to bad, but you may lose some bass from them by doing it that way.

Yeah, but whatever you do. DON'T PUT YOUR 6X9 IN SOME BOXES AND PLACE THEM ON YOUR REAR DECK.
