6x9 wouldn't really help that much anyway since shaker 500 already has the 8" woofer in the door. They do very well in the 100-500hz range.

Oh I see. I'm sure you could just mount them under the rear deck with some spacers. Shouldn't sound to bad, but you may lose some bass from them by doing it that way.

I was talking about the front door being impossible without cutting.

Yeah, but whatever you do. DON'T PUT YOUR 6X9 IN SOME BOXES AND PLACE THEM ON YOUR REAR DECK.
