My stingers broke in and got slightly less drony... or maybe I was just getting used to it.

Yeah, they still drone though. Especially when I take out the back seats and whatnot .

At least my radio still works

 

It's all a preference on whether you mind the drone or not. I get plenty of drone in 5th at about 60 MPH, but I love the way my exhaust sounds. I open the windows, drone baby drone!

 

I have mine for a bit over 500 miles. They do drone. My car is GT/CS Convertible. I changed the gears from 3.31 to 4.10's. (the car is 5 speed manual). There is no drone at highway speeds 60+ as the rpms on 5th gear are now just over the 1700-2000 Brola drone zone. I love my Borlas. I have to say that the drone does feel milder after 500 miles... (it must be our ears). When you put the top down they are sex on toast!

 

LOVE mine! I'm running Borla stingers with a pypes x-pipe and high flow cats but plan to add BBK tuned shorties to the mix soon. (I have no rasp or trumpiting at all) Drone? Hell ya they drone but I love it!
