Default Re-calls

i already got my gas tank replaced.. and now i am wondering if anyone has heard anything about the heater. to me i dont think it is blowing properly out the floor vents.. when i have the vents on the top blowing, it feels like you are in a wind storm, but hardly anything comes out of the floor. any comments?

and my car is white, and it looks to me that the paint on the front and rear bumper are different color whites than the rest of the car. anyone notice that? they seem a little more yellow.

thanks, hope to hear some answers from all of you

There are dozens of discussions on the various know issues with the 2005 you can find on the forum. Gas tank, floor vents, and Shaker issues to name the big three. Just look back at some old topics and you will find everything you need to know. Enjoy the new Mustang.

Do a search- I've seen some threads on the heater issue but I believe it was related to the air coming out of the defrost vent when you had the heater control turned any of the positions on the right.

You may have a color match issue between your bumpers and the body- I work at an auto mfg. plant & they're constantly monitoring that and making adjustments to the paint mix. If your dealer won't fix it try to find someone with the meter that measures the color and see what they say (a good paint/body shop might have it- I think it's called a spectrum analyzer).

ive noticed on mine especially in teh winter when i first got it in february...if you put the heat control on floor/defrost it blows out of the defroster extremely hard and barely on the floor...if you put heat controls on floor only...it blows out of the defroster semi hard and a little harder on the floor...i think it is probably a problem with the way the heat blows from the blower into the heating ducts...probably a bad routing design allowing air to go to other places...i dont really care about it..as long as the defroster and heat works im not picky if it blows out of 2 places at once

Before the panic even starts, you need to correct your verbage. These are not recalls. They are known issues that are addressed via technical service bulletins. A recall is a saftey issue. The manufacturer acknoledges the issue and sends the consumer notification of the issue and a means to have it corrected. The things you are discussing are not saftey issues and will not be covered under recalls. They are issues that the manufacturer acknoledges and has issued a TSB to the dealers with correction instructions. They will not be addressed with the customer unless the customer complains about the problem.
