Dyno Tune Results!
Well I went down to Sniper tuner on Thursday, and finally got the car tuned. I got a 93 octane tune, dyno graphs, and a tuner all for 350! There were a couple crazy things I learned there too.
First, the guy was wondering if I had ever taken my car there before because it was already on the records for them. I said no, so the owner before me must have! What a weird coincidence.
Second, I wanted to find out what type of tune was on the car before so the guy checked it out for me, and apparently my car used to be much faster than it is now because it has a nitrous tune on it already.
After learning that, we decided to do the runs. The type of dyno was a mustang dyno and turned out 270 rwhp and 287 tq. I asked the guy why it was a little low, and he said the mustang dyno reads about 15% lower than the actual hp and tq. He said that dynojets (I think) are more accurate. So if you figure it out I have above 300 rwhp and prob around 315 tq. Only problem is...I can't really tell the difference from the tune until I'm in third and fourth gear. Cool experience overall, and if anyone is from Central Florida I'll give you their number cause it's an amazing price. You get the tune, dyno, and the tuner for pretty much the price of just a tuner alone.
