i would almost suggest that you should syphon it out and try and dilute it out with 93 octane. just be careful, dont rev the engine to high until u get the 89 filtered or diluted out

YOU CANT SYPHON OUR TANKS!
It was said before and i agree. the only realy way to take out fuel is to drop the tank and pour it out. a royal PITA
And lets try not to be so mean.. Hes got it figured out now and should be ok.
OP I would run at least a half tank of 93 down to empty and then refill to full with 93 before you reload your 93 tune.

lemme guess, your girl took the car out and filled her up with cheap gas?? lol.

Easy on the throttle and you won't have a problem. Just don't WOT with that octane.

Or just go down to autozone and add a can of octane boost.... problem solved!

no octane boost fouls plugs and can clog cats

The only safe octane boost is Torco fuel additive. It's the only one that won't foul the plugs. But it still won't bring it back up to 93.

As long as you don't go WOT you'll be ok. They said my amsoil 0w-30 could clog cats due to it's zinc content (why I like it). My cats aren't clogged yet at 30k miles.

Actually the car still runs like new.

There have been independent tests done showing all of the others out there to not only do nothing in the way of performance or boosting octane levels, the chemicals in them actually proved to be harmful to fuel injected engines.

I don't know what's in Torco that makes it better. But they are a fuel company as well, so they know gasoline. Their fuel additive is basically a race fuel concentrate.

Hmm, so what if you ran straight Torco? 105+ octane FTMFW?

I like the torco webpage background image. Top Fuel dragster FTW!

Ohh they also have Methanol and Nitromethane. This site is so full of win.
