Had to bump this thread, because I thought it'd be more appropriate than creating a new one myself.

Did a burnout for the first time today. IT WAS AMAZING.

At first, I was a complete idiot and didn't turn the TC off; I was like "wtf is wrong with this thing?" Then I was like "oh...I'm an idiot. That's what's wrong with this thing."

Did it in the parking lot of my old elementary school (how appropriate, eh? haha). Laid a HUUUGE cloud of smoke that didn't dissipate for like 60 seconds. Scary thing was that after I did it, I thought I saw a cop approaching the intersection near the elementary school.

I was like..."oh (#**&^. Evidence is right behind me. Of course I had to do a burnout when the cop was at the intersection..."

Thankfully, it was just someone who stopped at the intersection a little bit; I guess to admire the smoke cloud behind my car? haha.

But I'm just so exhilirated I had to share.

dude, just hit the button, rev the car in 1st gear, dump clutch, hit the brakes, roll the gas and you've got a nice looking burnout, just make sure not to swerve the steering wheel at all, cuz it's very sensitive. i'll show you pictures soon as to what happens, i had fun last night haha.

Am I the only one on this forum who hasn't tried a burnout?
Am I the only one that thinks a real burnout doesn't require the aid of brakes...?

My 03 GT was my first Mustang. When it got wrecked, it only had 7500 on the clock, but had went through 2 sets of rear tires lol.

I've only done 1 burnout in my '07 (besides at the track) and that was the check if the line locks were working.

Guess I'm getting old? I just may have to pull her out of the garage and do one today haha.
