Well the install took my longer than 1 hour but oh well. I did it by myself in about 20 degree weather with some snow flakes falling so I took some breaks to warm my hands. Yes I was determined to get that baby installed...

The install is the exact same between the V6 and the GT. The biggest PITA I had was getting the stock shifter out through the opening. I had to use a couple of screwdrivers to help pry it out. Installation of the Hurst was a breeze. I did have to take the center console out in order to get the dust boot back on. My hands just didn't quite fit down the small opening very well.

My first impression of the shifter is during normal daily driving it is has very solid shifts. A VAST improvement over stock!!! LOVE IT! This is going to greatly improve my DD experience!

...however under WOT I understand what people complain about....man is it noisy. It has a vibration sound like it's going to fall out. I know everything is bolted down nice and tight. I could see how that would get annoying.

Oh did I mention it's a really awesome interior appearance mod... Man does it look cool
