I ordered the Elites the other day. I hope we get 20 soon. I also selected 2nd Day Shipping and thought it was nice that they emailed me to confirm that I knew it was a group buy and they wouldn't be shipping until they got 20 orders.

So, C'mon, people! Buy buy buy buy buy!!! I need to save my 10 bucks!

I got an email today from . Only six people have ordered the hood struts. The order won't make it to 20 people. I tried posting on other forums to help out, but that didn't work out either. Those that did order will end up paying full retail if you still want them.

Sorry it didn't work out.

Ed

Hey wait!! I just ordered a set. Does that count? Even if this isn't enough, I still want them.

Maybe they ought to shut down this offer and give the six that ordered their discount as a sign of appreciation(the $10 basically covers shipping). I know happy customers love to spread the good word on a product!

If you still want the hood struts, you can still get them. It just won't have the discount. I just sent an email linking them to this post. I have no control over the price, I don't work for . I was just trying to get everyone that wanted them a discount, but we had to get 20+ orders to get the discount and that information was up front.
Just need to get people to order them if you want the discount. I already have them and they work great. The hood latch controls the hood from flying up during high speed, not the hood struts.

EDIT: please don't do that. If they want to become an authorized vendor, they should contact admin.

This thread is locked because....

1) We have an area specifically for classifieds

2) the company you are talking about is not an authorized mustangforums vendor. This site is free to us because of the financial support of our sponsors. Please do not plug the names of unauthorized vendors, repeatedly. If they wish to become an authorized mustangforums vendor/sponsor, they should contact admin. Besides, it would be alot cheaper and more effective than the lousy $10 each they are offering here.

Ooooooo...

Learn something new every day... did know (Insert Vender Name here) wasn't "authorized" nor that we weren't allowed to talk about them.

Oh well!

I still ordered my hood struts from (blank).. mostly because this vender is the only vender offering them.

I feel like I am conversing in the coffee room where your not allowed to mention someones name but everyone knows who it is your talking about![:-]

LOL - It's not that big of a deal Prof. I'm just trying to do a good job here. The problem was that it kept on going and going and going and going......

My concern was that our sponsors would see it and say "why do i bother to pay?"

Here REDLINE

I think I fuggered up big time []

What was the name of that company again?!?! i forgot because I deleted the name everywhere [&o]

I think they might actually be an authorized vendor afterall.

If they are, I will do everything I can to help out with this group buy. If not, I will just delete this post and pretend nothing happened [sm=smiley36.gif]

Are the names of the Ford Dealerships that keep popping up around here authorized vendors? You know, the ones that say give me a call we got a GT in stock with your name on it. You know, the ones that say this is a public forum la di da da. Somehow though they are allowed to post. How does that work?
