Anyway I am also looking to get a house soon, but with the way everything is right now I am going to hold off a bit on certain things. Granted I know its the best time, but I just have that feeling about certain things.

On another note...I know you are looking to sell it and you have your eyes set on a nice vette, but like you said - you are looking on getting a house. IMHO, you should keep the mustang and use the money you have towards the down payment on the mortgage. Once you are set with the house then you can get a nice car.
actually right now isnt the best time , the best is yet to come so the longer you can hold off the better deal your going to get, its going down hill for the next 2 yrs still they project so it looks good for some people.

Thanks for the advice but its not going to take me much longer then a yr or so to pay the vette off and the house looking is kinda very first stages cause im not 100% sure when my g/f is going to be done her school here so I do have some time still before its actual house time. I kinda got a sweet situation set up with my father who has the down payment lined up already, my old man is looking to buy forclosed property then basically have me morgate off of him and if the economy jumps back up we cash in on a house and if not I get a sweet place for a really good price/rate and my parents have a winter spot to stay at. He is going to be paying a portion of the morgate since we will be splitting profits if there happens to be a sale in the distant future, he is just a great guy looking to make a buck and out for his kid trying to set me up in best situation possible with a home that he can.

No im not a spoiled lil kid or anything like that either. Im 27 yrs old and own my company. He actually came to me with the offer and said he is looking to kind of invest in property and your not going to find somebody who is going to take care of your home/investment as good as a close family member who is going to potentially own it or profit from it. So its kind of a win win for both of us.

Dang Tomb, Sorry to hear the Stang has to go! But the Vette is a good choice also. I almost got one before I bought my GT. I was trying to buy a Shelby GT500 back then, but I refused to pay the $10 to $20 Grand mark up. Ford couldn't find a dealer anywhere to sell one for sticker or even try. I Came real close at that time to buying a new Vette. Market is tough on cars right now so who knows what it will bring. Post it everywhere. See what happens. Good Luck. Still like to see ya around.

nice car man, yellow was my 2nd color choice behind black but if im spending thsi much im not going to really budge on the color . I plan to murder ou this car even worse then my stang is, black tips again , lights front windshield, painting the calipers black I want the black rims and if they end up been chrome or the siler they will get powder coated.

what is good deal you speak of and if its that good I may have to consider it, you can pm me if you dont want to post the info. miles price etc, thx.

why are you selling?

ya I was also curious about the vette before I bought my car but back then it wasnt practical at all at 80 grand lol but now 30k later it seems like the sale of the century lol same with GT500 man you can jump in a used one with like 5k miles for like 35k and a new one for 40k its nuts.

make sure you keep in touch bro. good choice going with a black vette! that's the same color mine will be down the line if i end up getting one. For that much cash i wouldn't budge on the color either.
