I thought the webelectrics were legal cause they are all lit at once with the 1rst 2 coming on early. Chasers on the other hand are not lit at once at any time so they may not be legal.

People love mine

I live in Cali and was stopped by a motorcycle cop for "show of speed" and I used my chase signals in front of him before pulling over and stopping. He didn't say anything about them and let me off with a warning and said to take it easy on the driving. lol

Wow, didn't know they could be illegal. All you need is a cop with a bad attitude and you've got yourself a ticket.

I think that's what the officer called it. He pulled me over because I did a burn out when the light turned green.

That's a real ticket. I guy I know with a Terminator got one of those for $300 in GA. Did the same thing as you burning out from a light.

I think it was termed either Excessive show of power or Excessive show of speed.

Exhibition of speed is kind of a catchall section of many vehicle codes so that the cop can pull you over if the cop can't find any more specific violation. That makes the stop legal. If the cop wants to cause you more grief, a citation can be issued. Then you need to go to court to fight it. Even if the judge finds you not guilty, the cop has caused you to waste a lot of your time. And there's nothing you can do about it.

Personally, I don't like sequential lights even if they are legal. I prefer to maintain as low a profile as possible, and I think sequential lights stand out and call attention to yourself. No guts on my part, I guess.

I think for a burnout, they can also cite you for "Improper acceleration." I need some sequentials now that brenspeed has them for cheap.
