LOL! Quick question for you all. Q: "How many brake lights to you have on your S197?"

Answer: "3" so when your turn signals are on you have 2 constant on brake lights which makes them legal (Your 3dr brake light does not flash & whatever turn signal your not using to turn with is not flashing either)

They are "NOT" illegal in any state

I was pulled over once for exhibition of speed and power and here I thought it was WOT. I have the sequential lights and have had no problem here in PA.

I have the Webelectrics and have driven up and down the east coast and haven't had any problems. I like the sequentials because they draw the attention of the person behind me. Less chance of them rearending me.

I've never had any trouble out here in Washington State. If anything, I think they add to safety and as stated in the previous post, draw attention from drivers behind you.
They sure light up my rear end...car that is...

Yep, I had a local cop pull me over last month because I had a tinted cover over my license plate. He said it cannot be covered even with a clear lense. I didn't get a ticket, just a warning. I told him it should be one of the things looked at during a state inspection....how else are we going to know what is legal and what is not especially if you can buy it at the local automotive store.

Exactly. For safety reasons you WANT to draw attention to yourself. It makes a big difference. The sequentials do just that.

Yesterday on my way home from work I was driving around a GT500 that had sequentials. They look very cool and seeing them on the GT500 made me glad I have them (even though I can't see them myself). They made the GT500 stand out a lot more than everyone else when he was changing lanes. Of course the GT500 stands out quite a bit anyway. That is one mean *** looking car from the front. For a while I was infront of it and when I'd look at it in the mirror I was like DAAAAAAAMN.
