Default Sequential Tail Lights and Cops...

I like the look and am thinking about ordering a kit in the near future but has anyone had any problems with cops? I'm not sure if its legal lighting or not anyone know? Also anyone try the plug in kits?

ive never had a problem with them, i doubt they would unless there were a real a**hole cop. i bought the splice in kit from ebay like 2 years ago and i pulled my lights out and did the work on my kitchen table, took about an hour and was around 80 bucks

I've been told that technically my sequentials are illegal because when the brake and turn signal is applied at the same time, the side with the turn signal does not have at least one bulb constantly lit.

Since the 2010 has sequentials I would say they aren't by themself although each state might be different when dealing w/ modifiying stock safety equipment.

You just got me wondering myself. I did a quick search which turned up a wiki write up on sequential turn signals. At the end it makes this statement.

"Sequential turn signals are legal in all states of the USA and Canadian provinces. Sequential brake lights (where the same circuit is used for when the brake lights come on, which has never been done on a production car) are illegal in several states, including New Jersey and Florida."

That would explain why the 2010's only are sequential with the turn signals...

I guess I'm riding dirty.
