Finally was at the light with my top down when i hear this absolutely beautiful rumble sound and see a 05 mineral gray GT convertible pull up next to me. The driver checked me out and gave me a fellow mustang owner thumbs up, and i him. but i have to admit that the sound.... that WONDERFUL low rpm sound was magnificent... and he had the stock pipes too...

So i think i realize part of the allure of that v8 engine... so i retract alot of what ive been saying... i still hate the gt wheels, i s till hate the GT grille and front bumper... but that engine... ok that engine is bad ***.. and even mineral gray looks good as a convertible (eventho between his tailights was painted black) he was impressed with my sequential/chase taillight kit tho ^_^

i keep seeing other 05 mustangs and forgetting just how cool i look on the road.

Apology accepted. Nothing sounds better to me than that low rumble. I love it!!!!

No problem, stickman. By the way, WOT with an aftermarket exhaust sounds even better than stock at idle!! woohoo!

well im always about v6 pride... which i STILL HAVE! i just admit one of the few things that i DO like about the gt.

It takes a big man to come out and apologize to everyone for what was said in the past and to admit his admiration of the GT and admires other colors. Not everyone will like every little detail of the GT and the same goes for the V6 model.

My neighbor from across the street commented on how sweet the car sounds when I turn it on and she's still stock. Borlas have yet to be installed.
