Default Wheel sizes.

Hey, all,

My new GT *finally* arrives on Friday, and so I've been looking around for my first bunch of mods. I think the first things are gonna be some nice billet rims from Body Coddington. The question I have is what sizes to go for? On my C5, I had 19's at the back and 20's at the rear, but I'm kinda thinking that the 'Stang doesn't have as big wheel arches as the vette, so I'd go for 18x8 at the front and 19x10 at the back.

Anyone see any problems with these sizes? They won't stick out past the arches or anything ridiculous like that, will they?

Mustang virgin, so if I'm on the wrong track with the wheel sizes, please let me know!

Good luck finding a 10" wide wheel with the right offset... not too many out there.

Shouldn't be a problem - coddington wheels are all blanks so they can be set up exactly as you need.

It's just whether the sizes will cause clearance problems or anything like that?

285/40/18's on +43mm offset 18x9.5's work fine for the rear. I'm sure the right offset 19x10 will not stick out. H&R did 19x10 with 305's.
