Default Racing seats

Im ready to order some Corbeau CR1 seats for my car. I was wondering if anyone ever found out how to get rid of the airbag lights that will come on with the removal of the stock seat/side airbags. I know there are multiple post on this that I looked up, but I never found an answer.

Also, is it just the airbag lights that come on because I would think that you can disconnect them somehow. Does anyone have a pic of these seats in red/black installed?

I would also LOVE to know how to upgrade to aftermarket seats bypassing the electronics in our current ones.

Im surprised aftermarket companies havent started installing weight sensors so there wouldnt be a need to jimmy-rig the electronics

just don't let your insurance company find out you don't have airbags anymore!
Or I guess you could sell them to pay for any increase in your rates!

As far as the light, just pull a Homer and cover it with electrical tape.
