Default Boom Tube power gains??

So im leaning toward buying boom tubes and just want to know a bit more about the pros and cons. Im guessing they will see higher power gains then most mufflers since they are so close to being straight pipes right?

Also, when im pulling into my neighborhood at 2 am are my neighbors gonna wanna kill me, or are the quite enough at low rpm to cruise up the driveway?
Its hard to get a good idea on the sound from youtube clips. No camcorders pickup the low frequencies and not much to compare to sound wise.

Also i wont need a tune right? Im thinking of getting them before i get a cai/tuner just because of they are affordable to me right now.

Gains from axle-backs are virtually non-existent. I actually lost a touch of low-end torque with my LoudMouths, which I can feel only when I'm slipping the clutch from a dead stop.

As long as you're not getting around 2000 RPM when you're driving late at night, you should have no problems. My LoudMouths are whisper quiet under 2000 RPM (as long as WOT isn't involved haha)

Pro--They sound really good.
Con--You'll get tired of talking about them, maybe!

They'll sound faster but there'll be no noticeable performance gain. The stock exhaust flows extremely well.
