After I did it myself and took pictures. Took it for the next oil chainge ready to rip someones head off, turns out the mechanic was fired! They fixed it and I will never go back to them again. Did I mention hand prints all over my tan interior!

It is hard to find a good dealer. I personally do not trust them further than I can kick em. I do oil changes myself. A question: for full synthetic oil change with mobile one 5w-20 and mobile one filter, how often do you change your oil?

It can happen anywhere. I took my daughter's Honda to Jiffy Lube for an oil change. They didn't tighten the oil drain plug and it ruined her engine. Jiffy Lube replaced it. Just the luck of the draw.

Dino oil: 3,000-3,500 miles

Blend: 5,000-7,000 miles

Full syn: 8,000-10,000 miles or more (if going more than 10,000 miles, a sampling/testing regement should be established)

Do you happen to have the moss part# for that drain plug there?

Instead of getting that drain valve, you should go to sears and get one of those 15 mm open 6 sided wrenchs. They work really well when removing the oil pan plug. Not to mention, the wrench can be used for many other nut and bolt applications. I'm surprised no ones on here complaining that Ford didn't put an automatic button on the steering wheel that opens up the oil drain plug.

That drain plug valve is just the ticket for those that want to take oil samples. It might be just the push I need to begin running my Amsoil beyond 10,000 miles.
