Default 05 suspension

Ive got the tell tale signs of the popping creaking suspension issue that is in one of the technical services bulletin... im th inking about lowering my ride thought... getting some new spring to take it down maybe two inches. Should i have ford replace this bad suspension FIRST? will lowering my car require me to replace anything that is malfunctioning already?

You should let them fix it first because they will replace the bearings which are probably bad .
