Expensive hobby we've got here eh guys? Maybe I should've stuck with computer games and video cards.

On second thought.. screw that!
Yeah if it had been within $500, it would have been a contender.

My problem is I have too many hobbies. Luckily you can buy a kickass videocard for < $350 now. The one I have I paid like $750 for a couple years ago.

I see a lot of people saying Whipple but in my researching, I haven't found any benefit to paying their new price vs. a Saleen or KB. Both are proven products, don't cost an arm and a leg (relatively speaking) plus KB has a true cold air inlet.

Also are we sure there are no warranties on new Saleen superchargers? I've read that the cancellation applies to the Saleen cars and previously sold S/C's. I remember seeing Brenspeed quoting that the warranties for new S/C purchases is indeed intact with 1 year.

I will buy from a company currently in businees. Not traded or sold.

So back to the drawing board!

Figures as soon as I was sure which one I wanted.

Better it happened now than six months after you bought the thing.

That is partly true. The Whipple will give you more low end power through redline, while the vortech give you a progressive increase till redline.

The Whipple will make it feel like you have a big block, ie more power everywhere. The Vortech will provide an increase linearly.

So you see its the same but different. You have to decide which you want. And for price call Steve, he can do some amazing stuff. It was a few years ago but he got me my HO for thousands less.

I'll write the name and number down and give him a call next year. I appreciate the information. If he can get me a screaming deal then I'll be all over that!
