I need a few things for my trunk interior, and I am having a hard time finding the parts. The plastic dome housing over the locking mechanism cracked on the left side and I need a replacement for it. Also the two large fasteners that hold the trunk liner in place (the large plastic piece behind the taillights) snapped and now it is just sitting loose. I tried going to the dealership for the fasteners and the ones they gave me just wont fit at all. If anybody here has any idea at all where to get the replacement parts for these at all, I would be greatly appreciative.

I know I had to replace the plastic dome houseing over the locking mechanism but just picked it up at the dealership I think it was like $45. I would try and get a part number off it but I am in Iraq and its a little far away. Good luck

 

the rear trunk lamp housing is part# 8R3Z-13A656-AA retail $60.60
the inner trunk panel wing nuts are part# W712314-S300 retail $1.70 each
the inner trunk panel reainers are part# 5R3Z-54310D12-AAA retail $1.78 each

The last part # 5R3Z-54310D12-AAA comes up as headliner retainers..is that the same part?

 

try some of the junkyards that sell mustang parts on fleabay. paying $60 for a dome cover is just so wrong.
