Yup, so true. I am getting the 2010 GT when it comes out. Truth is I plan to buy it and have it shipped to Asia where I am assigned.

There's another dilemma as I plan to get the panoramic sunroof but am thinking if it is adviseable since the country i am assigned at is a hot tropical country.

I have 30K to pay in cash for my GT premium but when I toyed with the BUILD YOUR CAR function of ford..my car OTD was 39,500 including options. I wonder if the dealer would give me a huge discount since im paying in cash.

The 09 GT premium my dealer quoted me less the panoramic sunroof as someone was asking was 27k OTD versus the 2010 suggested price of same options plus panoramic sunroof of 39K OTD.

I am still thinking about the panoramic sunroof. My setup would be with the full hoodscoops and side scoops, automatic transmission, HID, 19 Rims, pinstripe over the car and in sterling silver color. Sort of like ELEANOR in Gone in 60 seconds. Ahhh, i bet thats everyone's dream car =)

Hope i get the car for my budget when it comes out. its v8 baby all the way !!!

Thanks guys for all your opinions and suggestions..keep them coming =)

Get a GT. If you go with the V6, you find yourself eventually wishing you had saved a little longer and bought a GT. You can never have enough power.

If you haven't pulled the trigger on the GT yet, I would suggest getting it with a manual. But don't get me wrong the automatic is a really nice transmission as well and if you choose that there's nothing wrong with it. I bought the manual because I felt that it was more fun to drive. I don't really find it to be cumbersome in traffic but some people do find it to be a pain on this forum. Some people say the clutch is real heavy. In the car I finally purchased, I don't find the clutch to be all that heavy. For some reason, I drove another GT before and the clutch seemed to feel heavy. Maybe I got used to driving these? It should be the same clutch because it was also a S197 with a 5 speed.

One downside to getting a manual though is I have been hearing that a clutch replacement will run you about $1500 parts and labor included. I have a good insurance rate so that isn't too bad.

Ha, I'd take an 07 gt over a 2010 V6. Of course it would have to cost a good amount less, but v8 is king.

This time I'm going with an automatic, could be just laziness but that is true about clutch replacements - they come quicker than you think and cost $1,500.

Definately get a GT!

I agree with Biceps. You'll find yourself wanting that dual exhaust and V8 sound also. Plus, I read in one of the automobile magazines that the 2010 seats are not as comfy as the 05-09s. Riding long distance in my 08 GT/CS is so comfy.
