I can't run any downloads to my pc from the SCT website for my XCAL3. I tried using my desktop & laptop pc's which exceed minimum requirements for these downloads & both got the same error message. While running the X3LWUpdater 2.1.2 installer, I receive an error message 1721 "A program required to run installer to complete could not be run".

Has anyone else ran into this problem? I tried contacting SCT tech support but they're closed.

I have a new tune from Brenspeed that I need to load. Anyone tips will be appreciated.

If you're running 32 bit Windows Vista, you'll need to turn off User Account Control before installing the updater software. 64 bit Vista is not yet supported, should be ready soon.

what if you run in compatibilty mode? does that work for windows 64?

My desktop is running 32 bit Windows XP & the laptop is a 64 bit on Windows Vista.
