Question FRPP Bullitt wheels

I currently have 8.5X18 FRPP Bullitt wheels on my car, that's what it came with. I now am wanting to go with a wider tire 9-10 but I can't figure out what price I should sell my wheels for. I looked on the Ford Racing website and all I can find of my wheel is chrome or silver. The silver is painted silver, which mine aren't. The other is chrome, which mine aren't. Mine are polished aluminum. Anyone know where I can see a price for my wheels new so I can get a good idea of what I should be asking for them. Also FR500/GT4s will definitely be lighter than my current bullitts...right?

Go with fr500s over GT4s but are you planning on selling these with the tires? what kind of tires and how worn down are they?

Check the forum classifieds and you'll see what people are asking for them.It does vary from around $500.00 on up for take-offs.

Tires are BFg's with around 4k miles, but the back right one is rather bald lol from before the T-Lok. There's a lil curb rash on 2 but not too bad. They're frpp tho not take offs, unless that's a universal term.
Ohh and tires are 235/50/zr18

You can get $500 or more for those, as Poco said. I would personally keep those wheels on there, I think they look fantastic, and you might not drop any weight with new wheels. I don't know how heavy those ones are, but my black saleens weigh almost 28lbs a piece IIRC.

I really love the look too but the traction in front and back isn't too great. I was planning on 9's up front and 10's out back with fairly wide NT05's on em

Hey Sonic...I too had exactly the same size stock Ford 18 x 8.5 Polished Bullit wheels with 235/50/18 Goodrich tires and only 3000 miles on them. Was able to sell all for $ 700.00. Some Mustang Parts companies on the internet ( i.e. Dallas Mustang) are advertising exact same Ford wheels for original price of $ 242.00 and sale price of $195.00.

If you take them off, they become "take offs". I've had and still have a very nice set of the 18" Bullitts that come stock on the s-197's. You prolly won't have a hard time selling your Bullitts, its a really good upgrade from 17" Ford wheels. The 18 bullitts weigh in at 28lbs. each. Good Luck with your sale.
