removing the wheel locks...

Default removing the wheel locks...

how? i believe there is some sort of key, but where would this key be?

edit: i found it in my glove compartment.

Should have come with your kit. Its a special socket that fits onto one lug nut on each wheel

Try, all around the spare tire, glove box, center console, rolling around under a seat. You deff need that key, if you don't have it you r teh effed!

If the locks came from Ford, you could probably order a spare one....

good point, except i needed the lock removed soi can get the tire patched, it has a screw in the tread and its almost sitting on the rim of the bullitt.

ordering it would probably take a little while to get shipped

When you finally sort things out, get two keys. Keep them both in the car. Service guys have been known to forget to give the key back, and owners have been known to forget to ask for it.

will do, how much do they run for, probably cheap but just curious and bored

I don't know how much a key costs, but it shouldn't be a whole lot. I think four locking lug nuts and a key cost something like $50.

If worst comes to worst...vice grips FTW!!! It'll prolly scratch it up real nasty like, but they'll get it off for you...
