Default Brake lights problem

Hi everyone, Im having some problems with my rear middle break light, it refuses to do what its told.

The bulb went out about 2 weeks ago and today I put in a new one, but it wont work.

My left direction light flashes twice as fast as the right one and I dont know what to do next, is there a specific fuse for that brake light? If anyone could post the Fuse box info I would be really grateful.

Thank you all.

No specific fuse.

Do you have the dreaded water leak and damaged Smart Junction Box by any chance?
Passengers side carpet wet and moldy after a rain?

So it seems like I dont get any power to the center brake lamp anymore, I can get any notification on the tool so I guess I have to follow the cable and see where it has broken, are there any well know spots where the cable tend to brake?

How are you checking for power and where are you placing the reference ground when doing so?
No well known places for wire breakage on such a new vehicle (S197).
It is a tan/lt blue wire that carries the current for the third brake light.
I would check at connector C422 in the trunk to see if you have
power there with someones foot on the brake pedal. The connector
is located by the passengers side trunk lid hinge. Its there so the trunk
lid can be removed without removing the wiring harness as well.
The tan/lt blue wire runs from the SJB on the passengers side kick
panel along the passengers side door door sill just under the carpet.
It then goes under the rear passengers side seat and on it the trunk
where it goes up the passengers side trunk lid hinge to C422.
I am also having a third brake light problem and currently have
run fiber optics from the third brake light bulb housing up to the
front for display on the dash so I know what the third brake light
is doing 24/7. It works about half of the time and the other half
it no worky.

Faster flashing of one side verses the other side is a function
of the SJB indicating that the faster side has a bulb burned out.
Turn on your clearance lights and your hazzard flashers.
Get out and walk around the vehicle. The burned out
bulb wont be illuminating like its counterpart on the other
side of the vehicle. Repace it with the correct bulb
(see owners manual for directions and bulb numbers).

Im using a multimeter to see if there is any power, the other stuff in the lid of the trunk is working and I get a response on the multimeter when I try on the lamp in the inside of the trunk.

There arent any other broken bulbs at all, its only the brake light.

I have to be going now, bbl'

Thank you for your info.
