My Mustang Check engine light keeps on coming on and when I read the code it is P0104 which is Mass or Volume Air Flow A Circuit Intermittent – I changed the Mass Flow Sensor but still get the error – I believe it is either an air leak in the housing or an electrical issue (short).

Any advise on where I should look to correct this issue so I can fix it and the check engine light no longer comes on for this issue.

Was anyone under the hood before the light popped on?

No - just me, and the first time the light came on, got my readers saw it was the MAF and got a new one and replaced it. Reset the codes to nothing but it comes back on after about 1 week of driving around. I can clear the code again but once again about a week later, there it is. I also checked the MAF by running the engine and removing the wire to it and the engine cuts off which I have been told means the MAF is good. That is why I am thinking it is a short or something else.
