I have had a little oil around mine, not a lot. Wipped it down and have not noticed any more.
I have to ask a quesiton though. I have had mine for a year now. I LOVE IT. I bought It and and had it installed through the ford dealer. I have the HO kit for the 06 GT. ( I wish I had the ability to do the install) the only problem I have had is the fuel pump went out. ( GT 500 pump $1,200 at the dealer part and laber ) I called ford, they would not replace the pump. I called whipple and they said to send them the pump. They would try and work with ford to replace the pump. After three calles to whipple and two months later Whipple has never called me back.
So the question is does whipple only warantee the blower and not the parts that come from ford racing. Should I let it go. (The price you pay if you want to play)

Ford wouldn't replace your stock fuel pump because you put a supercharger on?

I'm pretty sure he had the gt500 pumps and they went out. The HO kit comes with them.

Whipple doesn't make the pumps and i'm sure Ford racing only had a 1 year limited warranty on them, if that. I've not heard of many pump failures.

Its the GT500 pumps. The pump went out at about eight months. When talking to ford racing they do not warranty the HO kit. When I bought the kit I thought whipple had a one year warranty on it.

Wow. I thought pretty much everything had a 1 year warranty.

Since I've wiped mine clean (right before taking the pictures), there has been no oil residue build up yet, though I haven't driven the car too much since then. I'm hoping to put some miles on it this weekend and keep a close eye on it. At the first sign of any oil coming from the snout, I will be contacting whipple.

It's confirmed. Took a spin today and popped the hood. I could see oil build up through the pulley hole at the bottom of the snout. I'll be contacting Whipple on Monday.

Included a picture. It's hard to see as I could not get a lot of light in that area, but I've circled it in the picture. You can see where there is a dark spot, which is oil.
