Lifetime resident of Philly,. Stay out of center city with your car. We sinced moved to the jersey burbs. MUCH better. Take the rain or another car. It stands a decent chance of getting damaged

Well I had no idea on where I was at so there were no options in parking any where else. Im just fine with not going back.

The key idea- I like it

I also had an idea of putting a switch inline with the clutch safety switch... wont start until the switch is in the right position.

I like the battery cut off better though. That way the car is completely dead minus the draw from the computer.

Any body know how much draw the system takes while the car is off?
Thanks guys

Blocking the fuel line with a hidden valve was the choice
of carburated vehicles. It allows the theif to get out
on the street before it stalls where everyone can see.
They abandon it right away.
I would look at defeating the FuelPumpDriverModule.

DarkGreen/Yellow tracer wire at the Fuel Inertia Shut-off Switch on
connector C282 thats located conviently behind the driveds side kick panel.

The clutch idea is a no-go.
It can still be roll started.
And if it is just that the starter
wont turn over, I would just crawl
under her with a short jumper wire
and put 12V to the starter terminal
that way.

But when it cranks but dont start,
I would not have a clue as to if
its gas, spark or what/why it wont start
without major time wasting energy.
Time to find an easier mark.

But the PATS is my insurance no one will
start her while I have the keys.

PATS? And will a BAP interfere with any of that idea?

you should take the battery out and take it with you lol its only 80lbs!

i wish there was something simple. i had an explorer with a SCT chip on it that had a dial switch. i was able to turn it to a no start setting when in a bad area. it would just never turn over when you tried to start it. it was nice.

isnt there a fuel pump shut off switch or something like that under the dash?

i figured i would add. i have to buy a new whip to drive to Newark, NJ (car theft capital of the world) when i start going to rutgers graduate school there. i think if someone drove something nice like we have it would be gone ten min after you walk away from it.
