Another factor to look at is track prep and Density Altitude (DA). Higher altitude and a warmer temp will result in slower times. My best 1/8 mile times are 8.69 with a DA of around 2500'. At sealevel the time would be about 8.45 to 8.5. and I ran a 8.8 with a DA of 4500'

I ran a 8.8 avg with cold air tune and some misc stuff, shot of nitrous 75 and my avg went to 8.5 , I had headers /driveshaft and tune for a 125 shot and got my avgs to 8.2 but I suck at reaction time. also had nitto drs, my time should be a little better but I still have car loaded with weight. also need to lower tire pressure to maybe 15 I was running 20. also I seemed to do just as good with a 75 shot vs a 125 shot because the torque and spinning thru gears. Our cars are heavy but they still seem to go pretty good. Hope this helps you to get an idea. auto-373 gear headers d/s some susp . last night I was sure hoping for a jump in the high 7 s but I couldn't get there. Down to 8.05
