this may be a stupid question but i'm wanting to order the mid muffler system tonight and because brenspeed is only about an hour and a half north of where i'm at, i'd like to order thru them. my question is this: on their website it says that it comes with 3.5" tips while every other place on the internet that carries this system has 4" posted tip size, so does anyone know if the one that brenspeed sells has the 4" tips? hope so cus i'm ready to buy now!!

pretty sure it is 4" bc they're pypes tips and pypes only has 4" tips. Unless brenspeed put on their own tips that say brenspeed but I doubt that. U try calling them?

 

I actually just installed the system last night. Its a 4" tip, im sure someone just screwed up in the description writing process because in the instructions it says it has a 3.5" inlet. System sounds AWESOME! Just annoying how the tips are uneven. Oh well, im sure there is a way to fix that.

The shop that installed it for me fixed that issue. They had to cut and weld the hangers in differently then they came. They said it was a BITCH to install but I agree it sounds AMAZING and it comes at a pretty good price too

 

Hey sonic i'm wanting to get this system too so how much did they charge you to do all the extra custom fabrication??

 

I think I got it for a steal $150 for the install 3" pipe welded and cut into and H pipe I watched them do it, I thought it was rather interesting. I think they broke it down as like $40 parts the rest labor.

 

i love mine,and yes,,,they are 4 inch tips(funnel like tips)...i used different tips..

 

yeah they are 4in as stated above. LOVE my mid muffler setup with catted X. Sounds amazing
