Got 20% on the back 3 and 35 for the driver and passenger's. If I were to do it again, I'd get 5% on the backs, and possibly 30 up front if I could. I'm going to put 5% over my 20% for my back windshield

I have 5% all around except windshield. I find it is really not that impairing. I drive at night plenty and it's really not that bad. You do have to realize that everything at night is lighted up. Just because it's 5% doesn't mean it's pitch black, you can still see what's going on very easily. I find it very useful for cutting down on light from people on the roads at night from headlights.
During the day 5% isn't even that dark (to me anyways). I havn't ever had in problems in SC for getting pulled over randomly for it. Supposedly i think i read SC is one of the biggest anti-tint states. I don't believe a cop can just ride down the road and look at your tint and pull you over on that sole purpose.
However i did have a clever trick i thought of. It wouldn't be hard to wire a switch to your window switch shutting off power to it. So when a cop pulls you over, roll down the windows, flip your switch, and be like i can't roll them up, been having problems with them.
I don't know if you guys know, but they sit a device on the lip of your window that shoots a beam of light through to measure it. If the side windows can't be accessed they can't do the test, and in turn can not ticket you. I'm sure it would be easy to wire a switch hidden down in the kick.
I havn't bothered with the switch method as i just carry a doctor notice in the car that says i can have tint as dark as i want.

I do 35% on the doors and 20% on the rear and back windows. I thought it would look bad being 2 different percentages but it really isn't noticable, especially now that I have Cervini quarter window scoops on, but on all my other cars I have it the same and it looks good.
