I have an 08' Gt Mustang and I am looking to give my car an extra look without spending too much cash(times are tough these days), I heard that the GT500 Lower Valance front bumper kit can be put on the GT once some sections have been grinded, I was thinking of getting one, the dealer sales them for $145 which isn't a bad price but I don't want to go through the hassle of sanding/grinding it myself. So my question is does anyone know where I can get one already prepped and ready to stick on to the GT Mustang 08'? Also does anyone know about any other front kits that are at a good cost($350 & below) that might give my car an aftermarket aggressive look, thanks guys for any feedback.

 

the only way you can get an actual gt500 splitter 'prepped' is to do it yourself; but it's not all that hard to do. all you really need is a jigsaw to cut out the parts that interfere with the gt bumper and you're good to go; you can probably have everything cut and mounted in around 3 hours or so. i put the actual gt500 splitter on mine and didn't really have any problems with installation or anything... but 145 bucks for one now i paid something like $65 for mine a couple years ago

i know there are some other gt500 style splitters (i think cervini makes one) but they will all run you at least $200

 

You should be able to get the GT500 splitter for $80-$90 still.

They quote list price or higher at first, but usually go lower if you talk to them and let them know that someone else has it for X price.

Let them know that you'd rather buy local from them.
