Idle RPM

Idle RPM
I'm seeing a hesitation and then a sudden surge sometimes when I take off from a dead stop. I have an 07 GT with an automatic, Steeda CAI, and Brenspeed 93 tune. Actually, I have the 91 tune loaded right now so I can see if it improves the problem. Anyway, I'm seeing 500 RPM at idle in drive with my foot on the brake. Is that right, or is that a little low? What should it be?

My idle was set to 550 with my Bamachips 89 torque tune. I didn't like it that low so I reset the idle in neutral to ~780 rpm and the idle in drive to ~750 rpm with my Predator. It idles much better now.
The thing that confuses me about your post is that you are also talking about your off idle throttle response (lag from a dead stop). This is caused by the drive by wire throttle system. Not much you can do there except recalibrate the gas pedal. Do a search on gas pedal recal and you'll find a bunch of threads on how to do it.
