Default Engine cutting out

Just installed the retro-solutions HIDs yesterday and everything went fine, they look great. But after that, drove the car for a bit, got off a ramp off the freeway, and all of a sudden the pedal didn't respond. I looked down at the gauges and it gave me a wrench, and the car died. I tried to turn it back on, cranked but didn't start. I got out, popped the hood, nothing looked out of place. Put the hood back down and cranked it and it worked! Ran like normal..

Now a little later that night, i started the car and it died again! But the next turn it turned right back on, what could be the problem? It's been alright since that.. *fingers crossed

Don't think it was the battery since my aftermarket headunit was still on and was playing while the car was sitting. Any suggestions??

I think your car may be related to Midnight Express's car...

Same thing happened this morning.. f*ck. I'm not sure what it is. It actually cranked up, started, then after about 5 seconds or so dies. Did this 3 times. I popped the hood, moved some wires around, checked around, checked my intake, everything seemed fine.

It only started after putting the HIDs in though, but I don't see where it could go wrong? The only thing that I might suspect is the ground wire.. I somehow grounded it somewhere where it's not completely metal and isn't grounded properly.

Could somebody help me out with this??
