TruFiber GTS-3 Hood + Cold Air Intake?
Forgive me if this question has already been posted and answered. I tried searching the forum but didn't find an answer.
Does anyone have the TruFiber GTS-3 hood or the Cervinis Ram Air hood with a cold air intake? Is there any issue when it rains? I am getting my new GTS-3 painted and would like to put a CAI kit in, but I don't see any way for water to drain away from the filter. Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Rick

no problem with rain for the ram air in the front of the hood if thats what your asking. . only water you may get is thru the heat extractors when you wash your car. I washed mine yesterday and its no biggy. the intake opening lines up pretty close to my C&L filter.

i dont have a CAI yet, but this has been posted before, and no it will not effect the CAI, harly any if not no watwer gets in through the scoops, even when i wash my car and basically spray the front so water would almost be gettin shot into there, i pop the hood and it is completely dry by the openin ram air port.
