I was quoted $375 for a FRPP hot rod cam install. Is this price in the ball park and comparable to what some of you guys have been paying?
Hey goth...This must be for the labor (install ) only.. Right ??
Total cost will be around (cams $750, labor $375, phaser bolts $40,
cam cover gaskets $ 20, and custom dyno tune $300) $ 1,485

I reused my valve cover gaskets, no leaks yet.
Thats a good deal for install. I didn't want to pay $500 so I did them myself.
Kimnack Ford in V.A. will install them for $50 hr if you buy the cams from their performance shop, and they charge $740 for the cams. So I'd say that was a fair price.
That's a good price. I paid $ 425.00 for my hot rod cam install, also included changing spark plugs and installing steeda delete plates. I furnished all the parts, that was just his labor.
