Not a problem man, sorry for not understanding or seeing things from your point of view and my kid comment until it was too late. Dude, you so have to talk her into getting a Mustang!

Here, I'll help you out I can tell you my Focus horror story. This really happened to my x-wife's Focus. She parked it behine her dads truck may be 6 or 7 feet behine it. Her car was in park and the drive way she was parked on was sloped down hill maybe a 20% grade. Her dad some how did not see her car behine his truck and backed up into it at a very SLOW speed. It only put a very little ding in the plastic and a little scrape on the paint but, it some how knocked the car out of park and it rolled down the driveway and ran into a tree crushing the entire back end and smashing out the rear window. Aparently something wrong with the parking gear and we were told "you should of had the parking brake set". Of course I told them, "So do you guys always set the parking brake on all your automatics at the dealship so just in case someone bumps them they won't roll out into the street?" He said yes, so I told him I'll be down to check and he quickly changed his answer. Rarely does anyone ever set the parking brake on a automatic.

This my Girlfreinds ride, the black one. It has a stage 3 Roush engine with the polished blower and she is not shy about using it LOL!

I personally do not like the look of 20's on our cars.

20's make the tires look narrow from top to bottom from where the wheel stops to the top of the tire.

It takes AWAY the muscle car look to me.
Muscle cars have always had fat looking tires and 20's make it look completely against the traditional mustang or muscle car look.

It also makes it look to "gangsta" to me.

NOT A FAN OF 20'S ON OUR STANGS AT ALL

GET 18'S

lol @ "gangsta".......

you tell me when you see a gang banger driving a decked out stang.....

last time I checked they were riding crown vics with 26's or walking or riding in w/e they steal lol

when I see a stang with 18's I think dam dude its 2009 cut the mullett and magnum PI mustache and get some nice rims........(dont really think that just on par with your "gangsta comment)

HRE wheels are not always lighter either just cause they are forged 3 peice does not garantee they are light, garantee they are mad expensive though.

I have no problem with your math and will take it at face value.

What I do have an issue with is comparing against a tire that's way too small (255/35-18) to ever be considered for use on these cars. It's intentionally misleading, and drawing peoples' attention away from the main topic in that manner is not doing your credibility any favors.

FWIW, the load capacity of a 235/55-18 is about right for my 14 year old 2900 lb Mazda 626, not my '08 3500 lb GT. Apples vs apples, please.

Actually, 255/35-20 is somewhat undersized for these Mustangs as well, unless you have load designation 'XL' tires and are inflating them accordingly. But that's a whole 'nother topic for a different day.

So i have been absent from this conversation, but here is what made me ask about the 20s even though i have been partial to 18s till i saw this:

http://cruizinconceptswholesale.com/...WHEELTIRECOMBO

But I do want to go ahead and get 18" wheels with 275s on all fours.

Giving my opinion. I have seen plenty of people that are wanna be gangstas driving nice cars. Not trying to insult anyone just giving my opinion.

Sorry if I insulted you or got your panties in a wad.

http://cruizinconceptswholesale.com/...COMBOSTAGGERED

just saw this, same deal but cheaper.

Do we get a forum discount with cruizin concepts. Has anybody seen something similar but with 18". I just didn't think that i could get 18" rims without a deal like that for that price.

That's a sweet deal and it has the TPMS too.

Though my Beyonds weren't that much more, but I got Eagle GTs

Same here.

Would never and will never get 20s.

But opinions are like you know what... And some people like that look better than you and I.
