Default Mac LT mid-pipe questions...

So, for the longest time I’d been dead set on the Kooks LTs plus catted h-pipe but with all the supply issues that Kooks is having right now I’m considering other options. Also, I spoke with two folks who have the Mac LTs and they both highly recommended them.

The Mac LTs are a great price and you can get them ceramic coated from the factory but since I’m here in TX I’ll need to have a catted mid-pipe but it doesn’t looks like Mac makes one. From what I’ve read you can buy the Prochamber and somehow hook your stock cats to them, but Mac’s website is terrible and I can’t find anymore info on how the set up works. Does anyone have any experience with the Mac LTs and a catted mid-pipe?

Will any other catted mid-pipe work with these LTs?

they stock cats do work with the prochamber but it wont fit with the lt headers so i would do this cause i was goin to do it, buy a set of pypes high flow cats and have a shop weld them in between the prochamber and the headers, i think that would be the best way to go

Hmmm, well that's not what I wanted to hear... I'd really rather not have to go that route. Thanks for the info.

Didn't you order them in early April though?

I'm not about to wait that long for headers and a mid-pipe... there are other options out there. :-)

just take your stock h-pipe with the cats and have a shop cut them off the stock h and fab you up a h or w/e mid pipe you want you want It is a very easy process for a muffler shop to do and shouldnt cost you much.

Dont be fooled when people say oh you have to use the exact mid pipe that comes with the headers thats a pile of bs.
