Heh yup watched your video more then once, I think I've found about every youtube video of shorties. I would definitely get the coated JBA, and saw them from latemodelrestoration.com

Idea is (Shorties or Longtubes) high flow catted (X or H) and Pypes Mid

I'm def. getting longtubes after watching these videos, I like the thrashier sound that you get with long tubes w/o cats and an x-pipe. Don't get me wrong though, these sound great

Well sprung for the JBA silver coated shorties from latemodelrestoration.com couldn't beat the price.

Now I'm trying to decide between the SLP catted X, Magnaflow catted X or a MRT catted H, suggestions?

Price is about the same and all Stainless SLP is modular which is cool, but might present more areas for leaks *Shrug*

I would suggest the h-pipe since it will keep the exhaust at a lower tone. The x pipes are slightly higher pitched, and the corsa mufflers are pretty high to begin with.

I think that is skewing the results a little. I'd like like to see a before and after of shorties with o/r x and longtubes with o/r x on the same car. I still think longtubes will make more power just not the big difference people think they will. I might go the JBA shorty route next year.
yes ..i completely agree

there is tons of rumble with my set up. JBA shorties, magnaflow catted X, Borla Stingers. magnaflow is top notch quality. they flow great sound is awesome. its not very raspy at all. the hole set up sounds like it as a mild cam when at idle.with all of this i noticed a big jump in MPG going up which was awesome. they def throw you in the back of the seat when you get on it. check out my vid. good luck! you installing yourself like the rest of us lol
