Default Dead Peddle

Bought a Shelby dead peddle.... Problem is that it's way too close.... Hurts to put foot on it...

Pic...

So I extended it 3"... Here's the 1/4" stock that I used...

Here it is welded up....

Much.... Much.. happier as dead peddle now that it's 3" farther back... No need to remove kick pannel to install either!!

Three inches ain't enough... Did another 1-1/2"...

Had to clearance it for the peddle... It's perferctly in line with the clutch now... Feels GREAT... Folks that market these, take note!!! Needs to be another 4-1/2" past the mounting bolt!!!

Why dont you move your heel so you dont have to twist your ankle. :/
Doesnt take much effort.

True... I'm a little on the tall side and getting comfy on the stock dead peddle ment having my knee on the steering wheel or my chest!!!
