Color Accent Package

Every dealer I've asked has said that the color accent package is NOT going away for 2006. There is also nothing about this on Ford's site. So, where did everyone hear about it going away?

Those same dealers assured me the two vintage colors would be gone (exterior paint).

The color accent package (red) is NOT going away. I ordered it, it was on all the various forms (which my dealer was kind enough to print out and inundate me with). Also, on the same note, it had been mentioned that the IUP was going away for '06 - also not accurate. To get the color accent package requires the IUP, same as '05. Cost me 450 bucks.

Yup, it was a bogus rumor. Somehow that rumor gained some serious legs right up until one of the dealers posted here that he had ordered an '06 with ICAP and the order went through. The rumor unraveled at that point.

Was that $450 for the IUP and ICAP or just the IUP? I know the MSRP on the IUP + ICAP is $625 and I'm just wondering. I'm planning on getting the GT premium with IUP + ICAP and the side airbags and need a reasonable price to ask the options for.
