Tuner for wheels

Default Tuner for wheels

What tuner is best overall and who should I buy from for an 07 GT I just installed new wheels, size of back wheels is about 3/8 inch differance do I need a tuner for that differance in size.

The only change you'd need to make is if the tire's revs per mile has changed. But if you DO need a tuner, you should be getting it for the tune first. The ability to correct for a tire size change is just icing on the cake.

The cheapest you'll find a tuner is about $300 (used). The dealer will fix your tire size using their tuner for $50 the difference being that with the $300 tuner you can pay some one like Doug at BAMA chips $60 for a tune to raise your horsepower by 7% while improving your mpg by 1 and making your gas pedal more responsive.

The tuner to get at the moment is SCT Xcalibrator which no one disagrees with.
