I guess it doesn't matter when you are outside your warranty. But it would if you were still inside it.

Read the instructions on the tuner. Adjusting for wheel size is easy, and IIRC, there is also a manual adjustment for gears. You're right in assuming you don't need a whole new tune.

The tuner cannot modify the STOCK TUNE. Only the dealer can.

That's the whole point of this thread. The OP must go to the dealership. There is no other option.
